The Role:
Reporting to the New Business Sales Director your role is to identify, qualify and grow new markets for NDL's existing product ranges. Working from leads generated on your own behalf, our internal team and our marketing channels; you will be required to generate sales through face to face sales meetings with key decisions makers.
The generation of new sales markets is expected to create additional opportunities for sales team management in NDL and therefore this role is likely to appeal to an experienced field salesperson seeking to advance their career in management.
Responsibilities:
· To meet new business revenue targets.
· Establish effective communication with all decision makers and buying influencers on your targeted clients and geographical area.
· Ensure all internal systems are accurately up-to-date with account activity. Building a strong business pipeline and align your work to pipeline and forecasting structure’s.
· Show full commitment to maintaining best practice in your approach to selling.
· Follow all leads provided internally in order to win business and plan ahead to keep business momentum.
· Take personal responsibility to build and maintain “industry” and market knowledge.
· Review Client meetings with Management on a regular basis.
Experience Required:
· A background in B2B field sales including a track record of winning business through face to face meetings with decision makers.
· Proven track record of achieving targets and KPI’s.
· The ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities and influence key decision makers.
· Possess excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively at all levels.
· A strong ethical approach to business.
· Well presented with a professional demeanour and a confident and assertive manner.
· Attention to detail in verbal and written communications.
· Technically adept, with the ability to quickly learn and understand new products and the implications of their use.
· Happy to travel within an allocated sales region which may entail occasional overnight stays.
· A demonstrable interest and competency using new technologies.
· Excellent presentation skills.
· Full UK driving licence.
