What’s next in 2025
We looked to the future and identified a number of Product update paths for the first half of the year. Here’s what you can expect during the next few months:
- Digitise: A wide array of new elements including toggles, star ratings, barcode & QR code support within PDFs, the new Access Group e-commerce, and a payments engine – many of these are already available on request.
- Flow: A range of new activities such as native Gov.Notify integration, central data-led PDFs, and push notification generation – all helping to improve accessibility to apps, automations, and connectors.
- Connect: A host of out-of-the-box AI and common system connectors to help improve Build Time, plus native support for composite, ‘chained’ connectors, and lots more.
- Automate: Additional Application Compatibility Profiles (‘ACPs’), created to help speed up automations for common systems such as SystmOne, Uniform, Adobe, and Docmail.
A whole host of features will be landing in the first half of 2025 enabling you to develop solutions more quickly, more simply, and with greater efficiency.

- Evolve unified transformation Studio: RPA, web and mobile apps, workflow and AI integration in a single simple, yet powerful, no-code web-basedstudio.
- Support for Linux as well as Windows.
- Support for containerisation in Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
- Store data in PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, and more, with customisable data formats.
- Built-in dashboards for performance-tuning, auditing, and business intelligence.
- Secure distributed architecture to support cross-location and organisational Digital Transformation.
The above features are tangible, demonstrable advances, and are in production right now. If you would like to know more, contact your Digital Transformation Consultant, or be sure to attend this summer’s NDL TechFest event.
Training is changing, and we are switching away from the old school classroom to the more effective, tailored Mentorship programme. This has been shown to consistently deliver highly competent transformation consultants who have delivered working projects, that can support the projects throughout their lifecycle.
In 2024 we added and updated over 250 transformation use cases in our community portal, from all types of NHS trusts to local councils and housing associations. Why reinvent the wheel? – Search the examples for inspiration and we will be happy to support you by providing further information.
Don’t forget ‘The NDL Way’ our proven Project Delivery Methodology which we use to create and deploy projects if you don’t have the resources to do so yourselves. This is supported by our combined and expanded Technical Team who provide unrivalled expertise, and who help remove process bottlenecks and make our products even more useable.
In addition to offering standard product support, we also provide access to our project and application support with the aim of taking care of your Project throughout its entire lifecycle.

Our team of Digital Transformation Consultants is on hand to offer advice and guidance, to connect you with like-minded Public Sector peers, and to help you drive Digital Transformation Projects within your organisation. To find out more, call 01937 543500 or email info@ndl.co.uk today.
TechFest 2025
We will be running our next Community Event in the summer – TechFest 2025 – and would like to hear your views on how we can make it as accessible as possible so that you can get the most out of it.
We understand that travelling long distances and staying overnight at an event such as TechFest isn’t always practical, but we also know that many of our customers enjoy being hands-on in Technical Sessions, and want to hear from their peers how their own innovative and replicable Projects have been delivered.
To make sure we design and deliver TechFest correctly, we would like your opinion on what you feel would work best for you and your organisation, so that you can maximise the value of your own Digital Transformation investment.
Please email us to offer feedback or to share your thoughts with our Digital Transformation Team. Alternatively, you can submit your thoughts and opinions via our feedback form.
Thank you!
Community Connect 2025 has been a great experience for the whole NDL Team and we hope that those who attended feel the same way. We are constantly amazed at the number of different Projects our customers are undertaking, and at the diverse range of innovative outcomes that are being achieved – all of which result in better services for both staff and patients.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us, and we look forward to working with you long into the future.
