NDL Community Awards 2020 - Celebrating the everyday excellence of our customer community

About the NDL Community Awards

The team at NDL know that every day, our customer community makes a real difference across the public sector, sometimes, with the support of our technology.

There are some incredible stories amongst our user community, so our dedicated NDL Community Awards programme has been designed to celebrate the project achievements of our customers, as we seek to share these ideas further afield to inspire similar projects amongst the public sector.

From data migration and automation with SX, digitising and mobilising workforces with MX, and information gathering and management with our online eForms platform, FX, our 2020 Awards Programme included five new categories, encouraging automation, mobile app and webform project entries from our entire public sector community, all in the running to receive the coveted category trophy and a charitable contribution to their chosen charity.
On Thursday 5th November, the NDL Community Awards 2020 was hosted by NDL Chairman Gordon McClure and Customer Success Manager Hannah Gilbank, who were joined by over 50 member of the NDL community for the announcement of winners, highly commended and even surprise honourable mentions.

A few words from our 2020 Winners

“It was lovely to hear the recognition for the really valuable work of our bot and also for the way in which the SBC Project Team and NDL collaborated. Using technology to support our most vulnerable families with access to free school meals faster has been inspiring and doing it during the height of COVID has had its interesting moments; the entire team (and when I say that I fully include our NDL Team members) are the stars - it’s truly been a pleasure working alongside everyone”

Sarah Talbot, Swindon Borough Council

“I'm so pleased that the work we've done has been recognised, this is a great reflection of how WCC services and (500+) staff have embraced the use of apps the team have developed.  Although I have led this programme from the start, it's been a real team effort with some classic examples of the business and ICT working together to solve key business problems.”
Owen David, Warwickshire County Council
