Welcome to the NDL Summer Newsletter 2023. This edition wraps up TechFest, the NDL Community Awards and the latest Evolve news - so let's get caught up!
I don't think we're alone in saying this year's TechFest was truly one to remember! Showcasing innovation from every corner of the public sector, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our speakers and attendees for joining us at our Wetherby HQ. It's been a fantastic way for us to gauge your needs and challenges to ensure Evolve grows with you - as well as a great chance to share all of the outstanding projects you've been busy away with.
With nine community speaker sessions, eight product masterclasses and four roadmap sessions, this year's TechFest channelled two separate technical and business-led streams - meaning there truly was something for everyone. Missed a session or couldn't make it this year? Catch up with our annual TechFest round-up.
You might have noticed the App & eForm Showcase has Evolved (do you see what we did there?). You can now find elements for use across the whole platform, including Automate ACPs and Connect Connectors. Keep your eyes peeled for even more ready-built Evolve items coming soon!
This year's TechFest also saw our first two graduates receive their NDL Practitioner certifications! Now open to the community, the Practitioner training programme is designed to take your team from foundation to expert level - register your interest today!
As mentioned, we'll be launching an accessible library of Evolve usages from across the community very soon. Locked away in the community portal, the Usage Library will grant exclusive access to replicable solutions and supporting information, helping you work smarter - not harder.
After such a busy couple of days, we know some of you might not have had the chance to ask all of the questions you had - or thought of on the way home! Don't worry; we've got you covered. Whether you forgot to ask about that niggling product query during a Masterclass or didn't manage to grab a community speaker when a thought popped up later in the day - we encourage you to reach out to the team. Your curiosity matters to us, and your suggestions help us further shape Evolve to your specific requirements and challenges.

This release is a minor update, focusing on re-branding.
This is the release of the Connect feature within Digitise. This is now available within Hub 1.3+, Digitise Forms 1.7+, and Digitise Apps 10.8+.
The Connect feature allows you to import and use RESTful APIs, with OpenAPI definitions, within eForms and Apps as if they were databases.
Connect's standalone offering is currently underway, set for release in Q3.
