12th July - App Project Showcase

webinar

As part of the NDL Transform Online Series, this summer we bring to you…

App Project Showcase - brought to you by Moray Council & University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust

Join experts from Moray Council & University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust for an exclusive online Project Showcase, focusing on low-code mobile apps and eForms innovation – from realising service improvements as part of a Scotland-wide ‘Designing Better Services’ initiative to bolstering an ‘e-hospital’ programme with front-end technologies.

During the session, hosts from pioneering UK health and local government delve into real-world front-end technology projects, and the role of eForms and mobile app technology in their digital landscape.

With key projects such as enabling secure, back-office integrated field-based citizen services and digital-first immunisation eConsent, hosts share their first-hand experiences in taking an adaptable approach to save time, manage complexity and transform public services for workforce and public good.

Part 1: Hosted by Andy Adam, Senior ICT Officer at Moray Council

  • Banishing paper - applying mobile app centred working to responsive repairs and materials ordering to enable remote access for in-the-field operatives.

  • How did we do it? Integrating a front-office CRM and three back-office systems with rapid in-house development.
  • Practical advice and lessons learnt, including how to overcome perceived project challenges and mobile working adoption.

Part 2: Hosted by Marc Hadwin, Head of Digital Services at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust

  • Utilising low-code eForms and mobile apps as part of a corporate-wide adoption of front-end technologies to radically transform pre-operative assessments, community services and other patient-facing services.
