Local Software firm provides Innovative alternative to traditional degree for Tech-Savvy Youngsters
NDL Software Limited, a Wetherby-based specialist provider of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Integration software tools, is delighted to announce the launch of its brand new Digital Apprenticeship scheme designed to give enthusiastic individuals the opportunity to gain a degree while earning a proper wage and gaining invaluable work experience.
NDL has over 35 years of IT expertise in a variety of public industries and is now recruiting new talent for this fantastic opportunity to join the team as an Apprentice Software Engineer in partnership with Leeds Beckett University.

The Digital Apprenticeship scheme runs for 4 years and will enable the Apprentice Software Engineer to learn a range of core Software Development skills during the first 2 years and then to follow their choice of 1 of 2 developer pathways for the final 2 years. These skills and pathway choices will be developed in line with the academic modules designed in conjunction with Leeds Beckett University, resulting in a Degree in BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions.

Declan Grogan, Managing Director of NDL commented: “We are delighted to be able to offer this great alternative to the traditional degree route.  I think it will really appeal to people who want to work in IT but don’t want to rack up the debts associated with full-time stud.  I wish this had been around when I was starting – it would have been right up my street”
This is a really exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the ever-expanding tech industry, earn a full-time wage and study for a degree - making it the perfect first step on the career ladder that offers more than just work experience.

It really is the best of both worlds!”
NDL supplies easy-to-use software toolkits to develop Robotic Process Automation and cross-platform Mobile Applications. By radically simplifying these two key areas, NDL has given over 100 UK public sector organisations across local government and the NHS the ability to integrate and mobilise their systems. This has resulted in significant savings of both time and money, changing the way frontline services are being delivered. With a pedigree stretching over 30 years, NDL is a profitable UK company priding itself on both technical innovation and high standards of customer care.
