Digital Transformation: RPA Edition led by Conwy County Borough Council & Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS FT

Join digital transformation leaders from Conwy County Borough Council & Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS FT for an exclusive Project Showcase. This session offers a unique viewpoint from two organisations that are at the start of their RPA journey.

From pilot to widespread implementation in only two years, hosts have deployed a variety of organisation-wide automation projects, utilising the flexibility of RPA across several applications spanning migration, automation, extraction, and data cleansing. Hosts will explain how they engineered automations in-house, building the skills and knowledge to ultimately empower their own technical teams to deploy projects that benefit both health and citizen services.

Part 1: Hosted by Scott Andrews, Senior Information and Digital Transformation Analyst at Conwy County Borough Council

  • Ways in which the innovative council is driving council-wide value with low code tools - only 12 months into its RPA journey.
  • How 40 RPA bots saved an estimated 2,000 working days by managing the migration of almost 12 million documents from the council’s legacy social care system, porting data across to the standard Wales Care Information System (WCCIS) in121 days.
  • Lessons learnt over the course of the project, challenges faced and how these were overcome.

Part 2: Hosted by Phil Chesterman, System Development Manager at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS FT

  • How the healthcare provider is enhancing a multitude of its services with RPA, highlighting pivotal achievements and an insight into the roadmap for the future.
  • A real-world demo of its diary and caseload automation, showing how RPA has been used alongside front end technology for end-to-end transformation.
  • The role of RPA in service usage analysis, specifically extracting data for questionnaire reporting purposes, whilst data cleansing and safeguarding updates.
  • The widespread use of RPA across multiple clinical EPR and PAS systems.
  • Lessons learnt over the course of the project, challenges faced and how these were overcome.

The Project Showcase will close with a Q&A session - a great opportunity to ask your hosts about their projects.
