COVID-19 Response



 

A message from our CEO

COVID-19 is indiscriminate and we all need to do whatever we can to overcome it together. We understand that more than most that our Public Sector customers are right on the front-line during these difficult times. NDL may be a SME, but despite this we have already helped Local Authorities and NHS Trusts achieve some great things. So, if there is anything extra we can do to help please do not hesitate to ask and we will try our best to support you.
 
Our Customer Services team recently received news that some of our community have already used our eForms platform as part of their first response. Inspired by this, we have decided to provide all our customers with free software licences, support and training for our eForms platform free of charge for at least the next six months so that they have the opportunity to do something similar should they wish.
 
In addition, we are also encouraging our customers to share their innovations with each other so that we can all maximise our response. Already, we have seen great work from one of our NHS customers who have produced a Coronavirus Service Mobilisation Form which they have offered to share with other Trusts. This allows the hospital to collect information about patients and match this with the appropriate services for swift and effective mobilisation against the spread of the virus. We are now encouraging our customers to share anything built on NDL technology that they think will help other public sector organisations, to let us know and we will help share it. 
 
We also want to take this opportunity to reassure existing and prospective customers that we have excellent contingency plans in operation, and that our entire team is now working from home. Product development, project delivery and customer support services are fully available, and we envisage being able to maintain a normal service for the duration. Furthermore, we have already redeveloped our support and training offerings so they can now be delivered online rather than in person. This means that we can continue to help our customers and anyone new to the NDL community as they respond to this fast-changing landscape.
